Kuwait’s Cabinet declares ‘January 30’ holiday for Isra and Mi’raj

The Council of Ministers, during its weekly meeting on Tuesday at the Amiri Airport, chaired by His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Al-Abdullah, decided to suspend work in all ministries, government agencies, public bodies, and institutions on Thursday, January 30, in observance of the Isra and Mi’raj anniversary. This day will be considered an official holiday, with work set to resume on Sunday, February 2.

The Council explained in a statement that agencies with a special nature of work will determine their holiday in coordination with the competent authorities, based on their specific needs and in consideration of the public interest.
