Kuwait customs ensures uninterrupted flow of vital supplies amid regional tensions

The General Administration of Customs said it is fully prepared to ensure uninterrupted movement of goods in and out of the country through all customs ports, despite ongoing regional challenges and delicate circumstances.
This came during a meeting between the Director-General, Deputy Director General, and customs documentation departments. The discussions focused on enhancing operational readiness, maintaining the smooth flow of incoming goods, strengthening security procedures, and accelerating customs transactions while upholding strict standards of accuracy and safety, reports Al-Rai daily.
The administration emphasized that it continues to operate with high efficiency around the clock, ensuring the security of customs borders and the protection of Kuwait’s economic stability.
It reaffirmed its commitment to guaranteeing the availability of essential supplies for citizens and residents, saying, “These efforts reflect Kuwait’s proactive approach to safeguarding its supply chains and national interests during periods of heightened regional uncertainty.”
