Kuwait court frees luxury car dealer after accepting settlement
Earlier, the Court of Appeal sentenced the owner and manager to twelve years in prison and fined them KD 34 million for fraud and money laundering involving luxury car sales.

The Second Criminal Circuit of the Court of Cassation has accepted a settlement proposed by a well-known luxury car dealership to civil plaintiffs, reported Arabic daily Al Rai. The court ordered the release of the dealership owner and another defendant pending the appeal.
Earlier, the Court of Appeal had sentenced the owner and manager to twelve years in prison and fined them KD 34 million on charges of fraud and money laundering linked to the sale of high-end vehicles at attractive prices. The court also ordered the confiscation of all funds from the company’s accounts.
