Kuwait condemns continued Iranian attacks, reaffirms right to defend sovereignty

Kuwait’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly condemned what it described as the continued and repeated Iranian attacks targeting the State of Kuwait, including the latest incident reported on Thursday.

In a statement, the ministry said the recurrence of such attacks reflects an “organized aggressive approach” that Kuwait will neither accept nor tolerate. It stressed that these actions constitute a blatant violation of Kuwait’s sovereignty, a breach of international law and the Charter of the United Nations, and a threat to efforts aimed at reducing tensions in the region.

The ministry reaffirmed Kuwait’s commitment to protecting its national security and territorial integrity, emphasizing that the country reserves its full right to take all necessary measures to safeguard its territory, vital facilities, and national interests.

The statement comes amid growing regional concern over recent developments, with several countries condemning attacks targeting Gulf states and warning against further escalation.
