KFF warns against watching drones from rooftops, urges strict safety compliance
Al-Mashmoum says, avoid gathering or exposing yourself to drone debris risks; calls for public discipline

Kuwait Fire Force Public Relations and Media Department Lieutenant Colonel Ahmed Al-Mashmoum has urged the public not to gather or go outside to observe drones being shot down or when ‘boom’ sounds are heard, stressing the importance of full compliance with instructions issued by the Kuwaiti authorities.
Speaking to Kuwait TV, Al-Mashmoum warned against risky behavior by some individuals who rush to rooftops or outdoor areas out of curiosity upon hearing sirens or drone activity.
He emphasized that such actions are dangerous and must be avoided, calling instead for staying indoors and ensuring that doors and windows are securely closed, while keeping a safe distance from them.
He explained that falling debris from missiles or drones may include burning fragments or solid objects, posing a serious threat to lives and property.
Al-Mashmoum noted that the General Fire Force has received eight routine reports, all of which were promptly handled. He added that all emergency centers and sectors are operating under approved response plans in coordination with relevant authorities, with teams fully prepared to respond to any incident at any time.
He also urged the public to promptly report emergencies when needed and to cooperate by giving way to emergency vehicles to ensure rapid response and efficient field operations.
