‘Higher Education’ activates emergency plans to ensure safety of academic community

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research said today it is closely monitoring regional developments through continuous coordination with relevant authorities.

The Ministry reiterated its commitment to taking all necessary measures to protect students, faculty, and administrative staff across all educational institutions.

In a statement, the Ministry revealed that Minister Dr. Nader Al-Jalal has instructed all those concerned to activate emergency response plans and elevate preparedness levels across the board, reports Al-Rai daily.

The directive emphasizes real-time, on-the-ground monitoring to ensure the safety of the academic community and the uninterrupted continuation of the educational process.

Emergency teams at universities and research institutions are reportedly on high alert and working in close coordination with national authorities to enable swift responses and precautionary actions as needed.

The Ministry reassured students and parents that the summer semester will begin on schedule Sunday, following the approved academic curriculum, stressing that all institutions are fully equipped to provide a safe, stable, and orderly educational environment.
