GTD declares partial closure on Fifth Ring Road toward Jahra for asphalt works
Three lanes closed on Fifth Ring Road as maintenance work continues
The Ministry of Public Works, in coordination with the General Traffic Department Kuwait, announced a temporary partial closure on the Fifth Ring Road heading toward Al Jahra.
The closure affects three right lanes over a stretch of approximately 500 meters opposite the Qurtuba area.
It will take effect from midnight Monday (early Tuesday) and continue until May 16, as part of ongoing asphalt maintenance works.
Authorities confirmed that three lanes will remain open to traffic during the period.
The exit to King Faisal Road will also remain accessible, along with the parallel service road for motorists coming from Al Surra and Damascus/Qortuba Street heading toward Jahra.
Motorists are advised to exercise caution and follow traffic instructions in the affected area.
