FAIPS-DPS reaffirmed its commitment to academic excellence with the grand celebration of its Scholar Badge Ceremony 2025–26, honouring the outstanding achievements of students from Grades IX and XI. Held at the school auditorium, the prestigious event brought together students, parents, educators, and distinguished guests in a vibrant celebration of scholarship, dedication, and achievement.
The ceremony was graced by His Excellency Wierish Ramsoekh, Ambassador of the Netherlands to Kuwait and Bahrain, as the Chief Guest, and Mr Arun Choudhary, CFO of United Education Company, as the Guest of Honour. The programme commenced with Tahel Al Kuwait and the Kuwait National Anthem, followed by the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, invoking blessings and setting a solemn tone for the occasion.
A ceremonial lamp-lighting marked the formal inauguration of the event. Joining the Chief Guest for this auspicious tradition were the Principal, Vice Principals, Headmistress, and Coordinators of Grades IX and XI, symbolising the enduring triumph of knowledge and enlightenment.
Welcoming the gathering, Head Boy Shubhang Mathur and Head Girl Pearl Dsouza extended warm greetings to the dignitaries and guests. In his address, the Principal highlighted the school’s vision of nurturing responsible, well-rounded individuals and stressed the importance of emotional resilience, optimism, and character development in shaping future leaders.
The cultural segment added colour and vibrancy to the celebration. Students enthralled the audience with a motivational Hindi song, an energetic Western dance performance, and a graceful Indian classical dance that showcased the richness of India’s cultural heritage.
A specially curated presentation chronicling FAIPS-DPS’s achievements and milestones during the academic year offered a proud reflection of the institution’s continuing journey of excellence.
As a gesture of appreciation, the Principal presented a memento to the Chief Guest. Addressing the gathering, His Excellency Wierish Ramsoekh shared valuable insights drawn from his extensive international experience. He encouraged students to embrace diversity, remain open-minded, and develop the adaptability and social skills necessary to thrive as global citizens in an increasingly interconnected world.
The highlight of the event was the presentation of awards and certificates to students for their exceptional academic accomplishments. Scholar Badges and Green Ties were awarded to students who sustained outstanding academic performance over three consecutive years, while Scholar Badges also recognised excellence achieved during the current academic year. Merit Certificates were presented to students who demonstrated consistent scholastic distinction and dedication.
Amidst enthusiastic applause from proud parents, teachers, and peers, the young achievers received their honours from the dignitaries. The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by Head Boy Hamza Hozefa and Head Girl Netraa Shah.
