69 minors caught driving without licenses in Kuwait in just one week

The Traffic Sector continued its enforcement campaigns to improve traffic control and coordination. From July 13 to 19, the Operations Sector issued 38,725 violations and referred 69 juveniles to the Traffic Court for driving without licenses, including 38 caught by the Traffic Operations Department, the Al Anba newspaper reported.
The campaigns also led to 37 serious violators being referred to the police station, 42 vehicles impounded for judicial reasons, and the arrest of five residency law violators and four absentees.
Additionally, 89 vehicles and 22 motorcycles were sent to the impoundment garage, including those with dark tinting or whose drivers violated traffic bans from 11 am to 4 pm.
Regarding the details of the traffic campaign supervised by Major General Yousef Al-Khudah, Undersecretary of the Operations and Traffic Sector, a security source reported that the Traffic Operations Department issued 127 violations.
The Mubarak Al-Kabeer Traffic Department issued 4,227 violations, while the highway patrol issued 7,484 violations. The Hawalli Traffic Department issued 4,233 violations, Farwaniya Traffic issued 5,789 violations, and Jahra Traffic issued 6,184 violations. Additionally, the special missions unit of the General Traffic Department issued 677 violations.
Weekly statistics from the General Traffic Department also revealed that it handled 1,180 traffic accidents last week, 181 of which resulted in deaths and injuries.
