Zumba Masterclass gathers biggest number of instructors’ attendees

More than hundred trainers and fitness buffs attended the recent Zumba Masterclass held at the Failaka Hall of the Radisson Blu Hotel and organized by the Gym Team. The event that featured four top Filipino Zumba trainers in Kuwait and a Colombian led the full house attendees through an hour and half of pure Zumba workout. The event was under the patronage of Mrs. Ida Pellaud, spouse of the General Manager of Radisson Blu Hotel Mr. Philippe Pellaud.

Zumba Masterclass, the fourth event in 2016 organized by The Gym Team, commenced with an impromptu warm up led by a Personal Trainer Sam Malit and Myhna Dy from Champions Health Club. Senior Trainer from Mabroor Gym Stella Munch perked the first sets of routines with her funny and funky moves. Janice Capili, a noted choreographer, personal and group trainer from Pilates and More immediately followed. Entertaining fitness trainer and school teacher Helen Rahi presented three routines and later, Blanche Bravo from the Holiday Inn Hotel ended the first set of workout for the day.

Then,  Alexander Romero, a Zumba trainer from Colombia organized a half an hour workout with pure latin rhythms and groves adding fun and enthusiasm to his workout. Cooldown routine was again led by Malit and Dy with all the presenters on stage. The event aimed to support the Philippine Assistant to Nationals Unit Shelter in Hateen area. The Gym Team, composed of volunteer fitness instructors meet every Friday at the Chai Al Dhaha hall of the Radisson Blu Hotel and proceeds of its classes are donated to charity. The Gym Team also announced that an international event will be held after the Holy Month of Ramadan.

“I would like to thank all those who came to support this project; The Viking Club and Radisson Blu for allowing us to use the hall, the instructors of Mabroor Gym who helped organized the event and all mentors and fitness trainers who continuously support the advocacy and its regular attendees. Thank you very much,” commented the organizer of the event.
