Zain, the leading telecommunications company in Kuwait, announced the continuation of its annual ‘Iftar Al Saem’ initiative that comes as part of its extensive Corporate Social Responsibility campaign and serves more than 50,000 individuals during the Holy Month of Ramadan through three different Iftar halls in Jileeb Al Shuyoukh, Hawalli, and Farwaniya.
Zain prepares its ‘Iftar Saem’ initiative before the coming of the Holy Month every year to assure the quality of the meals being served. The company stressed that the meals are available daily at three different locations until the end of the Holy Month of Ramadan. This initiative comes for the tenth consecutive time this year, and is considered a main pillar of Zain’s comprehensive CSR campaign during the Holy Month.
The Iftar meal banquets that are supervised by Zain’s staff are spread in different locations in Kuwait as part of a strategy to cover the most populated areas of Kuwait in order to assure the maximum amount of individuals’ Iftar needs are covered.
Zain explained that Ramadan presents a special occasion for the company to communicate and interact with the community it operates in through its extensive CSR campaign. This campaign is part of the organization’s growing support for charitable and social oriented programs, and is a reflection of its Corporate Social Responsibility strategy. One such program Zain organized before the start of the holy month featured the distribution of 'Machla Boxes' to underprivileged families.
