Zain, the leading telecommunications company in Kuwait, announced its Platinum sponsorship of the 32nd annual conference of the National Union of Kuwaiti Students in the United States (NUKS USA), which is set to be held from the 25 – 29 November 2015 in San Diego, California, under the patronage and attendance of  the Minster of Education and Minster of Higher Education H.E. Dr. Badr Al Essa.

Zain’s support to this prestigious event for over 12 years comes in line with the company’s keenness on providing young Kuwaitis whom are studying abroad with an annual opportunity to meet with national role models and country leaders who have had a significant impact on the country’s political, social, and economic pursuits.

The company’s presence in the event conveys its enthusiasm to interact with the future generations of Kuwaiti nationals, especially those who pursue their education abroad, as the NUKS USA conference is one of the largest gatherings of Kuwaiti students outside of Kuwait. The distinctive event appeals to students on both an intellectual and social level and it serves as an open forum for them to exchange opinions and views regarding important domestic issues with the presence of distinguished figures from the Kuwaiti society.

Zain will be organizing a number of cultural and sporting activities to enrich this year’s NUKS USA program, including two football tournaments for male and female students, an honoring ceremony to recognize top performing students, as well as a special participation in the event’s careers fair to interact with graduates.

Zain sees its annual participation in the conference as part of its responsibility as a leading national company to help provide bright and enthusiastic young Kuwaitis who are looking to enter the job market with suitable career development opportunities.

Participating in this event affirms Zain’s role as a leading national company that takes the development of young people seriously, with the ultimate intention to induce positive change within the Kuwaiti society.
