October 21, 2017, 4:40 pm

ZPavanoo Fitness Group launched Friday afternoon its charity project 'Donate a Blanket' for the benefit of the Filipina women currently lodged in shelter and jails in Kuwait on the 3 November at the Judo Hall of Qadsia Gym, located at the back of the Sultan Center in Hawally.

In an interview with Edelyn Lucban, ZPavanoo’s team leader, she told The Times Kuwait that this is the second year ZPavanoo will organize the same project. “Last year, we were able to collect more than a hundred used and new blankets donated not only by those who attended the class but other nationals who came to know of the project. For that reason we made this announcement earlier for those who may want to donate. They can come starting this Friday from 8 am till 10 am during the Zumba class and hand over their blanket donations,” commented Lucban.

The Charity Zumba Project will be held on the 3 November from 8 am till 10 am and will be presented by different trainers from different gyms. Nanay Eden, Filinvest and popular Filipino establishments have expressed interest to take part in such a project. “Cold weather is coming up fast and women in jails and shelter can definitely benefit to keep them warm during this season,” commented Sarah Berbano, lead instructor of ZPavanoo.

The team is expected to present 10 different trainers from different gyms and fitness centers. The team also announced that free entrance to the event will be given to the first 50 participants bringing blankets. For more details of the project, they may contact any member of ZPavanoo or log on to their facebook account ZPavanoo Fitness.
