Two youths who were dressed in ‘abaya’ and ‘niqab’ were arrested near the maternity department of Jahra Hospital, reports Al-Anba daily quoting informed sources. They revealed that the security guards of the hospital noticed two women who were standing near the maternity department of Jahra Hospital and wearing abaya and niqab.
Based on their suspicions, they notified securitymen who rushed to the location and investigated to discover that the suspects were two young boys. When questioned, the youths insisted that they wore the clothes because they wanted to fool their friend. However, they were arrested and referred to Al- Naeem Police Station for necessary legal action against them especially due to the privacy of the area they snuck into. Meanwhile, a Bedoun man was detained at Maidan Hawally Police Station after securitymen discovered that he was wanted by law for a number of crimes.
The crimes registered against the suspect included vandalizing private property belonging to an individual, fighting with the husband of a Lebanese woman whom he tried to seduce while she was shopping with her husband, and beating the couple. The suspect will be referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against him.
