Youth India Kuwait, a leading youth organization working for the wellbeing of expatriate Indians has organized a blood donation camp in co-ordination with Kuwait Blood Bank on the auspicious occasion of India’s 69th Independence Day, and in loving memory of the great patriots of India's Independence struggle.
Hundreds of Indian nationals came forward to donate blood and to show their solidarity with Indian freedom fighters. The Indian embassy second secretary Dr. Susheel Kumar(IFS) inaugurated the camp by donating blood. He commented that he is very happy and appreciated the members of youth India for arranging such a noble venture during India's Independence Day.
The blood donation camp started at 3 pm and continued up to 7 pm. The camp was led by Youth India Kuwait President Rafeeq Babu, General Secretary P.T Shafi and program convener Nisar K Rasheed. Kuwait central blood bank PR Secretary Thariq Easa Al Garballi , Youth India Kuwait chief patron K.A Zubair also attended the function.
