Police have arrested two Kuwaitis, both are believed to be in their early 20s, in connection with thefts, reports Al-Anba daily.
A security source said the arrest came when a Kuwaiti saw the men in a suburb of Sabah Al- Salem moving in a suspicious manner and called the Operations Department of the Ministry of Interior. The daily added, when the suspects saw the police car, they tried in vain to escape by jumping over the wall of the house.
The police then searched the men’s car and found 2 gold sets (18 carat), 29 bottles of expensive perfumes worth KD 400, iPhone, clothes, watches, expensive accessories and 14 branded women’s handbags, leather wallets, various types of smart phones, KD 15,745 cash, sunglasses, 6 watches, a set of gold and silver ornaments, mobile phone chargers and new women’s shoes. The suspects then were picked up by several victims from a police lineup.
