Young Kuwaiti artists showcase artworks
April 10, 2015, 10:21 am

An exhibition of artworks by young people, including those with special needs, sponsored by the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters (NCCAL) with the collaboration of the Ministry of Education and the State Ministry for Youth Affairs opened on 9 April.

The artworks came as a result of a four-day undertaking by the young students under the guidance of three highly-regarded artists from South Korea and Italy. The exhibition, dubbed Colorful Dreams, aims to spotlight the creativity among Kuwaiti youth, as they get exposure through an organized event and by working with reputable international artists, said the Council’s Assistant Secretary General Mohammad Al-Asousi, in remarks to the media at the opening of the exhibition. He said the Council has been striving in recent times to foster partnerships with various government ministries and agencies to showcase the artistic and literary talents of young Kuwaitis eager to have their works exposed to the public.
