Weekend closure at Ghaws road's intersections to install pedestrian bridges

Two intersections at Al-Ghaws road will be closed temporarily to install pedestrian bridges during weekend days, said the Public Authority for Roads and Transportation (PART) Thursday. Director General of PART Ahmad Al-Hassan told KUNA that the first closure, occuring at 03:00 a.m. until 07:00 a.m. local time Friday, would be at the intersection between Al-Ghaws and 150 streets.

The second closure, on Saturday between 03:00 a.m. and 07:00 a.m. local-time, will be at the intersection between Al-Ghaws and 208 roads, said Al-Hassan who indicated that the process was within the KD 70.9 million (US$234 million) Al-Ghaws road development project. Al-Hassan called on road users to abide by traffic rules and be careful when traversing near the specified locations during the weekend.
