Violators warned of consequences for breaking the law

Director of Jahra Municipality Bader Al-Mukheizim pointed to violations in the private residential areas with the presence of groceries, and exploitation of residential houses rented to bachelors for profit in areas such as Qaser, Saad Al-Abdullah and old Jahra, which are under the jurisdiction of the sector, reports Al-Shahed daily.

He added the Municipality will implement necessary measures to avert the repetition of violations. He noted Jahra branch formed a committee to follow up violations of this nature three months before Kuwait Municipality formed its AI-Mukheizim committee, adding its inspectors have issued 56 citations against houses rented to bachelors and shut down all violating groceries. He reiterated two weeks grace period has been given the violators to rectify their situation or else electricity will be disconnected to the building.
