Veteran actor Akkineni Nageshwara Rao, 90, passed away early this morning at a hospital. The actor who was suffering with cancer was rushed to the hospital at Banjara Hills with complications.
Only recently, ANR had publicly declared that he had cancer and said he was going public with it only to prevent any speculation about his health. The actor had said that it was not a serious problem and explained that he was taking treatment.
The Dada Saheb Phalke award winner is currently working in a movie titled 'Manam' in which his son Akkineni Nagarjuna and grandson Akkineni Naga Chaitanya are also acting. The film is incomplete.
