Va Boca –Macedonian cuisine with added fitness

Since its inception, Va Boca Restaurant’s food concept centers on Macedonian/Balkan cuisine. It is also one of the few restaurants in Kuwait offering a supplement ‘fitness menu’. The restaurant gives its customers the option to take their palate through an exotic epicurean journey with an array of fantastic dishes, such as Macedonian kebabs, Balkan burgers and most notably, Tavce gravce, the national dish of Macedonia, which is a white-bean dish baked in traditional earthenware.Here is a glimpse through a few of Va Boca’s popular offerings.

Most selling: Fitness Taouk Wrap,a combination of marinated chicken cubes in low calorie saj bread with low fat garlic sauce, a side of rocket salad; Macedonian kebab, a traditional kebab recipe served with potatoes.

Breakfast specials: American breakfast, a platter with three-egg omelet, mini steak, sausages, brownies, beans, fresh yogurt, fresh fruits, butter, jam and toasted bread, along with your choice of coffee or fresh orange juice; American type pancakes that are served and topped with ones choice of: maple syrup, honey, strawberry jam, Nutella, chocolate syrup, walnuts or banana.

Appetizers: Fitness melanzane, grilled egg-plant with low fat mozzarella cheese or ‘Banichka’ Spanish and cheese puff pie,a puff pastry dough wrapped and stuffed with mixture of spinach and white cheese; .

Salads: Caesar crispy salad, which is a mix of romaine and iceberg lettuce topped with Caesar dressing and parmesan cheese; Original Greek salad, combination of tomato, cucumber, capsicum, onion rings, cheese cubes topped with oregano and olive oil.

Side dishes: Fitness couscous, Italian style whole grain couscous with vegetables; Fitness chicken and rice mix, which is whole grain rice sautéed with chicken, egg white and vegetables.

Main course: Rosemary steak, tenderloin meat with fresh garden rosemary leafs served with grilled zucchini and roasted potatoes; Wienerschnitzel, a traditional Austrian meal consisting of thin slice of beef, breaded and pan fried served with grilled vegetables, potato wedges and tartar sauce.

Dessert: Fresh fruit salads, Fitness cheesecake, crispy banana rolls or waffles.

Beverages: Arabic cocktail, Frappe coffee, Turkish coffee and French coffee.
