VIVA supports the Kuwait National Football Team during the 22nd Gulf Cup of Nations

VIVA, Kuwait’s fastest-growing and most developed telecom operator, has announced its support of the Kuwait National Football team that will participate in the 22nd edition of the 2014 Gulf Cup of Nations. The championship will be held between the 13 and 26 November, 2014 in the Saudi capital, Riyadh. VIVA’s partnership reflects the company’s strategy to support youth activities in general, and sports in particular, as part of its social corporate program developed to promote awareness and raise the level of interest in sports.

Since the company’s inception, VIVA has made tremendous efforts to support the sports sector, and will continue to help expand the sports movement and encourage the journey of Kuwait national Football teams in regional and international games so the name of VIVA becomes synonymous with all Kuwaiti national football teams.

The Gulf Cup of Nations is the leading football championship held to discover new talents and budding stars whose light will continue to shine for many years to come. Every player new to the championship seeks to showcase his special talents. The national team will participate with a balanced mix of experienced players and talented young players.  Kuwait has dominated so far most of the Gulf Cup tournament editions, and has won a record 10 titles.
