VIVA sponsors NUKS UK Ireland’s Student Orientation Session

VIVA, Kuwait’s fastest-growing telecom operator, announced its sponsorship, for the third consecutive year, of the National Union of Kuwaiti Students (NUKS) - United Kingdom and Ireland’s annual orientation event that was held Thursday, 2 July, 2015 at the Gulf University for Sciences and Technology (GUST). The event was attended by members of the NUKS – UK and Ireland, representatives of the Ministry of Higher Education, the Cultural British Attaché, the Health Bureau, the students who were accepted into the scholarship program and their parents, in addition to VIVA’s executives and directors. 

The event was packed with activities and events that benefited both male and female students who were accepted into the sponsorship program in the UK or Ireland. A variety of activities were held, highlighting and praising VIVA’s role as a strategic partner, and the company’s numerous contributions to support the NUKS’s activities and events organized in Britain and Kuwait. VIVA also congratulated this year’s scholarship recipients who will be studying in the UK and Ireland.

VIVA is committed to supporting and sponsoring various activities and initiatives that interest and benefit students wherever they are, and contribute to the enrichment of their knowledge and experience. The company has sponsored over the past few years many youth-geared exhibitions, conferences and activities, reaffirming its support of its human resources as well as young Kuwaiti manpower. 

VIVA will continue to support various social initiatives specially those geared towards education in order to promote and improve the educational system in Kuwaiti society,   reaffirming its position as a socially dedicated and responsible institution.
