ULCIK celebrates Pakistan's Independence Day

The Urdu Language Congregation in Kuwait (ULCIK) celebrates the 69th independence day of Pakistan at the KTMCC hall of the National Evangelical Church Kuwait. Ambassador of Pakistan to Kuwait H.E. Mohammad Aslam Khan was the Guest of Honor.

Senior Pastor of ULCIK Justin B. Ram welcomed the Ambassador and his wife to the event.

The celebration started with the prayer by Riaz Niamat Masih. Saith Khushnood and Aksa Shamoun conducted the program. The National Anthem was sung by the church choir and the audience with great national zeal. Children presented bouquets to the Chief Guest and the heads of other Churches.

The ULC Choir and Youth group, and other Church Choirs presented religious and national songs. Well known Singer Nayyer Javed, Aksa Shamoun and Mishal Zulfiqar also presented passionate national songs. A slogan of ,” Pakistan Zinda Bad” was repeatedly shouted by the audience with national enthusiasm .

Mr. Saleem Akhter recited few versus from The Holy Bible, Justin B. Ram Senior Pastor made a brief speech on the value of the country. He told that Almighty God has blessed and filled our country with different Natural resources. It is the time that these resources must be unearthed and utilized for the development of Pakistan. He highly appreciated the defensive  role of the Pakistan Army. The Pakistan army is counted in the list of the best armies of the world. He said each citizen is obliged to follow the rules and regulations of the country and be subjected to governing authorities.

The chief guest in his speech expressed his feelings and best wishes toward the Christian Community and assured the audience for his full support and co-operation. He highlighted the importance of the country's Independence Day. 

At the end, he thanked the Sr. Pastor and the management for inviting him to participate in the celebration. The Chief Guest distributed gifts among the children who won the top position in their classes. Pastor Emmanuel Rehmat Masih offered a special prayer for the solidity and prosperity of the country, government and the people of Pakistan. The ceremony concluded with a prayer and blessings.

The food was served to the guests at the end of the program.
