The Misdemeanor Court sentenced Kuwaiti citizens Abdullah Al-Rassam, Fahad Al-Qabandi, Rashid Al-Fadhala and Khaled Al- Fadhala to one-month imprisonment, and suspended the verdict for a period of three years.

The defendants were accused of participating in an unlicensed gathering, and publicly using words that were deemed offensive to the entity of H.H. the Amir of Kuwait. During the court session, the suspects denied the charges and maintained their innocence throughout the trial.
