The English Madrasa for Islamic Studies’ Conducts PTA Gathering and Award Ceremony

‘The English Madrasa for Islamic Studies’ Salmiya Branch, run by the Educational Board of KIG Kuwait conducted its PTA Gathering and Award Ceremony at the Madrasa premises in Darul Quran Salmiya on Saturday, 15th February 2014.

The Meeting Started with Quran recitation by Master Fudail of class 3rd. The Vice Principal, Mr. Mohammed Faisal K V presided over the function who briefed the overall achievement of the Madrasa and expressed his gratitude to the PTA office bearers and parents for their valuable criticism, guidance and advice towards creating a successful Madrasa in Kuwait. He announced the plan to start a third branch of the institution in Fahaheel.

The Madrasa that functions in Salmiya at the premises of Darul Quran has total student strength of around 150 students from various parts of the world including Malaysia, Sri Lanka, India, Philippines, USA, Nigeria and Indonesia. It also has an International teaching staff consisting of teachers from India, Zambia, Singapore and Ghana. It has also introduced a new curriculum that fits all the students from various walks of life and the subjects taught include Arabic, Fiqh, Tafsir, Hadis, Quran, Islamic History, Islamic Studies and comparative religion.

The Principal Mr. Sameer Mohamed addressed the parents’ with regard to student’s track record. Based on the feedbacks from parents, he also ensured the implementation of their valuable suggestions. He requested the parent’s involvement for the betterment of the institution by their timely feedback with regard to the performance of their ward and the overall affairs of the Madrasa.
The administrator Mr. Safwan welcomed the gathering and expressed the management’s gratitude to all the parents and  students for their presence and support. 

He stressed the importance of an effective partnership between Madrasa and parents in providing a platform and foundation for the success of their ward. The Madrasa honored all the students who scored the highest marks in the Half-Yearly examinations by presenting mementoes which was distributed by KIG Area president Mr. Ismail and Madrasa Teachers. The session concluded with the vote of thanks and prayer by the Quran Department Head, Mr. Mohammed Ridwan Jamil.
