The Berkeley, one of London’s most prestigious five star hotels and part of the Maybourne Hotel Group, has housed Ferrari Atelier since 2011. This August the hotel has the honour of showcasing the unique Pininfarina Sergio Concept car which was officially unveiled during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. Nestled in the dedicated Personalisation Room which was modelled on the Atelier at the Ferrari factory in Maranello, Italy, the car is currently on display in this iconic Knightsbridge location attracting many curious eyes and ultimate motor fanatics.

The Pininfarina Sergio Concept car has been produced in honour of Sergio Pininfarina renowned automobile designer who conceived some of the greatest car legends as well as a Senator for life, who passed away in 2012 at the age of 85. Leading Pininfarina for 40 years Sergio contributed heavily in the bond between Ferrari and Pininfarina creating the 360, the 328 and the F40 models.

The tribute Pininfarina Sergio model is a futuristic, sporty looking two-seater barchetta based on the Ferrari 458 Italia featuring the standard drivetrain found on the rear mid-engine, rear-wheel drive supercar, the 4.5 liter V8, which is rated at 570 HP. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint takes just 3.4 seconds and top speed stands at 320 km/h.
