Taiwan celebrates 105th anniversary of Double-Tenth Day

Taipei Commercial Representative Office Chief in Kuwait Timothy Hsiang, held a reception on 9 October at the J W Marriot Hotel to celebrate the 105th National Day or ‘Double-Tenth Day’ of the Republic of China.

The day commemorates the start of the Wuchang Uprising of 10 October, 1911, which led to the collapse of the Qing Dynasty in China and establishment of the Republic of China on 1 January, 1912.

The reception was attended by a sizeable gathering of special invitees, students of the Taiwanese community studying at Kuwait University and members of the media.
