Summer camp inaugurated at ICSK

Summer camp – ‘Slice of Summer’ was inaugurated at the Indian Community School Kuwait on 9 June at the Senior branch auditorium. The event was attended by the professional in charges of the camp, parents and children who have enrolled for this enjoyable venture at ICSK.

Camp Convener Sherly Dennis, Principal in-charge of ICSK Junior, in her opening address, defined the novel experience of the summer camp as a golden opportunity. Students can enjoy amazing activities inclusive of physical, creative, dance and value based education sessions. She further added the wide exposure students will be provided to enhance their confidence and self esteem.

Esteemed chief guest Dr. V Binumon, Principal of ICSK Senior and Chief Administrator of ICSK, in his address, welcomed the gathering and appreciated the meticulous planning of the camp. In his address, he motivated the children to enjoy participating in all activities with fervor and enthusiasm.

With the release of doves by Dr. Binumon and Mrs. Dennis, Summer Camp -‘The  Slice of Summer 2016’ was officially declared open.

The Summer Camp 2016 is open for all Indian Students of the age-group 5-12 years irrespective of their school. It is an exciting opportunity for children to enjoy and learn during their summer vacations. The Camp is being held from 9 June to 5 July, 8am to 12pm at  ICSK Senior.

 Activities include magic show, aerobics, dance, karate, music, drawing and painting, theatre, arts, art and craft, carrom, chess, table tennis, basketball, badminton and more. Visits to Scientific Center, Planearium, Kidzania and more are also being planned subject to Ministry permissions.
