November 9, 2016, 3:00 pm

Smart Indian School conducted a fancy dress competition for its kindergarten wing on 1, 2 and 6 November.

The theme selected for the Pre-KG section was ‘Animals, birds and flowers’, LKG section was ‘Objects related to shapes’ and UKG section was ‘Things we use in our daily life’.

The children came dressed in innovative costumes and paraded joyfully on stage in the school mega auditorium. They spoke elaborately with self-assurance about the objects they presented.

The toddlers of Pre-KG came dressed up as God’s entities, while the junior kindergartners came dressed as traffic signals, pencil, globe, ice cream cone and more. The senior kindergarten children displayed costumes of objects used in their daily life such as mobile phones, clock, tooth brush and television.

The contestants were judged on the basis of their confidence, presentation and costume. Parents played an important role in the success of the event. The imagination, creativity and effort on the little ones’ costumes were widely appreciated.
