Slaughterhouse well equipped to facilitate sacrifices for customers

Head of Hawally Slaughterhouse Jawad Qumbar has affirmed that the work of the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition has been in full swing in preparation for Eid Al-Adha festivities, reports Al-Anba daily.

He highlighted that the slaughterhouse has been equipped with facilities and services aimed to facilitate sacrifices for huge numbers of citizens and residents. During a press conference inside the slaughterhouse of Hawally Governorate, Qumbar indicated about the continuous inspections to ensure workers there hold valid health certificates and to ensure fitness of sacrifices.

He said punitive measures are taken against workers who do not possess valid health certificates, and they are suspended from work immediately.

Meanwhile, Director General of the slaughterhouse of Hawally Governorate Nawaf Al-Sane’a said the slaughterhouse has taken measures to meet the needs of the season with the cooperation of Public Authority for Food and Nutrition as well as doctors in order to complete proper examination of sacrifices before and after they are slaughtered as well as allocation of resting halls for the people.
