The Director-General of the General Department of Airport Security Brigadier Walid Al-Saleh has issued a decision to body search all military personnel and other staff working at the Kuwait International Airport before they begin work.
Sources said the decision is part of an integrated plan, which has been developed in cooperation and coordination between all agencies to develop the security services and bridge lapses and prevent the escape of people wanted by law.
This is in addition to tightening the security grip at this vital and sensitive facility given the current circumstances of the region.
The sources added the plan will be in force for approximately three months and is aimed to ensure the safety and security of all travelers, in addition to making arrivals and departures present.
