An unidentified journalist died and some individuals sustained injuries due to a traffic accident involving five vehicles that took place on Fourth Ring Road. According to eye witnesses, the driver of one of the vehicles was using his mobile phone when he hit the vehicle in front of him, which resulted in collision of five vehicles including the vehicle of the journalist.
The injured victims were referred to Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital but the journalist died inside the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital.
Meanwhile, a Kuwaiti citizen died and another sustained serious injuries when their vehicles collided on Sixth Ring Road.
The corpse of the deceased was referred to the Forensics Department while the injured citizen was referred to Jahra Hospital where he was admitted in the Intensive Care Unit in serious condition. In addition, a Kuwaiti citizen died and three GCC expatriates, a woman and a child sustained injuries when two vehicles collided on Salmi Road. The corpse of the citizen was referred to the Forensics Department while the injured victims were referred to Jahra Hospital for treatment.
