The suicide bomber who caused a terrorist explosion last Thursday at a mosque reserved for Saudi SWAT teams and other security personnel has been identified as a 21 year old Saudi national, the Saudi Ministry of Interior announced on Saturday. The perpetrator's name is Yousif Al-Sulaiman, said a ministry statement, explaining that he used a suicide belt with which to explode himself as he situated himself among the worshipers in the mosque who were in the course of performing their noon prayers.

Up to 15 people perished in the explosion, five of whom were from a SWAT team, six were cadets, and four were from Bangladesh, said the statement, noting that 33 others sustained various injuries from the blast.
