SIS organizes a Women's Day celebration
March 9, 2017, 3:24 pm

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Bhavan’s Smart Indian School (SIS) commemorated the occasion in a splendid  manner in the school auditorium.  The day witnessed the energized participation from the women of SIS including teaching, non-teaching and supportive staff as well as the male staff, whose efforts were very commendable.

The KG staff presented an amazing dance session while the teacher’s presentation on the analogy of a successful male and a female in their respective arena was truly an inspiring show. A good reminder on how a woman presides in a myriad of roles in her lifetime was emphasized by the dynamic Principal during his message to all SIS Women. The importance of the three ‘S’ was also highlighted as ‘She’ being a metonym for Sacrifice, an epitome of Sunshine and the price of Success.

The event ended with a celebration of the triumphant roles and the ever changing and progressive onward movements in each and every woman out there in the world. The program concluded ended with the cake cutting symbolizing unity between women and a promise to forever keep SIS’ flag flying high in the sky and to strive to reach for the stars.
