November 25, 2018, 4:46 pm

Smart Indian School (SIS) celebrated Children’s Day on 20 November. The occasion was graced by the Principal – Mahesh Iyer, Vice-Principal –  Albin Daisy and KG Supervisor –  Rajini Menon. The United Nations marked this day for the dedication of the children’s welfare and togetherness, and the school rightly incorporated the year’s motto by going blue. The significance of children’s rights, implementing the written law of freedom into actions and togetherness were imparted to all the students. Keeping this in mind, the teachers dressed up as students performed on stage.

The unique and inevitable feel to cling to childhood was seen during the time of dance led by three different teams under able and entertaining dancer teachers.

A special skit was played by the Dept. of Arabic highlighting the naïve and mischievous traits displayed by the students in the classroom scenario. Another highlight of the day was the launch of the 4th edition of the online magazine, SPARSH by the Principal.

The fun-filled day provided memorable moments to applaud the winners of the Inter-school competition and the swimming team. The Principal, Mahesh Iyer congratulated the winners and emphasized the message of togetherness and the need to spread love in their beautiful garden of childhood.
