SIS launches its Bhavans Euphonic Strings band

During the latest ‘Bhavans Swarasandhya’, Smart Indian School (SIS) launched its Euphonic Strings band on 11 August at its auditorium.

Bhavans Swarasandhya, the fiesta included lively five editions of musical extravaganza evenings and it stands tall as a genesis to the birth of Bhavans Euphonic Strings that entertained an august gathering of Bhavans parents and teachers. The evening kicked off with the presence of respected Chairman N.K. Ramachandran Menon, Ravi Varrier, CEO and Pradeep Menon, CFO – Al Rashed International Shipping Co, Krishna Das Menon - Director, Bhavans Middle East, Dherar Khalid Al Rabah -  Chairman, Al Danat,  Rehab Boresli, Chairman. The Kuwaiti Society for Guardians of the Disabled and Sunil Menon, NSS Patron, T. Premkumar, Principal, Indian Educational School, Shoba Vadadi, Principal, Global English Indian School in addition to the Principals and vice-principals of other schools, administrative officers and well-wishers.

The dignitaries and attendees of the day were welcomed, which was followed by the lighting of the lamp. The impetus behind this ‘Euphonic Strings’ band is to raise money through performances for people in need and to promote charitable actions.

The official launch of Bhavans Middle East Euphonic Strings was met with applause for the eleven stars led by Mahesh Iyer – Principal, Smart Indian School, the brainchild of the band. The day ended with the singing of the Indian National Anthem.
