SIS holds Kindergarten Sports Day
December 24, 2016, 11:18 am

Games and sports play an essential part in a student’s life.  They enable one to enjoy the health and vigor of life. As the famous proverb says ‘’All work and no play make Jack a dull boy’’, here at Smart Indian School (SIS), the Kindergarten Sports Day was a splendid occasion for the tiny tots to showcase their speed and agility on the field.

The event had various competitions including running race, frog jump, hopping, threading the beads and vegetable hunt. All the children participated with great deal of enthusiasm and zest. The day was filled with fun and excitement. “It was a showcase of good sportsmanship by the young and smart tiny tots of SIS”: said Ms. Rajini, the Kindergarten Supervisor. The winners of various events were honoured by the Principal Mahesh Iyer.

He congratulated all the kids for learning about the extra enjoyment that competition can bring to a game. He duly appreciated the tremendous co-operation  on the part of everyone especially the parents who have strived their best to mould our students to work hard to make their dreams and aspirations come true.
