SIS holds French Day for the first time

Smart Indian School (SIS) organizes its first French day at the school auditorium on 22 January with the participation of all the French learners. The day honoured French as a language and France as a nation by displaying several programs that each grade could participate according to their level. The day was graced by the Principal, Mahesh Iyer, Administrative Manager, Shaimaa Zaki and the faculties of the French department.

The bilateral ties that each country has with France in terms of culture, music, education and language was beautifully displayed in each of the grade’s program. Some of the highlights of the day included a quiz session for grades 1 and 5, musical entertainment by grades 2 – 4, debutante live band with the musical accompaniment singing the song of Zaz, famous French singer, group song by grade 7 and grade 8 exhibited a dance depicting France’s culture and civilization. The whole event saw the day’s message of celebrating France, its language and heritage depicted in glorious pride of the nation.
