SIS holds Cartoon Day
May 8, 2017, 11:12 am

The tiny kindergarten tots of the Smart Indian School (SIS) celebrated cartoon day on 4 May, marking their favorite pastime of watching cartoons. This staple of growing up has a big influence on children, and often leads them to idolize heroes and funny characters.

The aisles of the kindergarten wing resembled a walk in Disneyland where the characters came alive in the children dressed in their favorite cartoon character.

The creative kindergarten teachers demonstrated to the young learners that every cartoon character they love is a hero because he/she understands the significance of responsibility. The children identified with the good disciplines and positive attitude of their favorite character. An hour was dedicated in watching cartoons and then each child was given an opportunity to portray their favorite character using a catchphrase.

It was a day filled with excitement and merriment. Hats off to the kindergarten teachers of the Smart Indian School who had planned the Cartoon Day that created lasting memories in the little kindergarteners.
