Bhavans -Smart Indian School (SIS)  students from grades 1 and 2 came together in a creative burst at the 'Best out of waste competition', which was held on 10 January. An amazing array of useful everyday objects were made from old newspapers, paper cups, plastic spoons, used bottles, old CD, cotton, rice, straw and other items.

Creativity was at its best when used plastic bottles transformed into piggy banks, pencil pouches and flower vases. Equally mesmerizing were the wooden fork ballerinas, snow globes made with a used jam bottle and the weighing scale done with plastic cups and hangers. To see the students turn waste into wealth was mind –blowing. It was indeed a visual treat that brought out the true meaning of Reuse and Recycle.
