SIMS holds session on time management and goal setting

A session on effective time management and goal setting was conducted for students of 11th and 12th grade at Salmiya Indian Model School (SIMS). The facilitator, Nasrin Ejner, is an international motivational speaker, a certified facilitator in experiential education and practice, a certified outbound trainer and a play for peace trainer.

With her diverse skills and experience, she took the students on the journey of learning goal setting and time management, which are some of the most sought after skills in today’s time. She emphasized upon the need for clearly chalked out SMART goals and elaborated upon how one should set goals, keep oneself motivated, identify and deal with procrastination and keep track of one’s progress. She further explained that time management was the key to achieving set goals eventually leading to a successful and satisfied life. Practical techniques of time management, including creating a productivity journal were discussed with the students and they were encouraged to use them. 

The session ended with a question answer session for the students where their day to day challenges of time management and goal setting were discussed and addressed. The session was interactive and insightful for the students.
