Science International Forum (SIF) – Kuwait, the official representative of India's National Science Movement in Kuwait, announced the success of the recent National Science Congress, which was recently held in Chandigarh, India.
For the first time, students of SIF- Kuwait, along with students from SIF- UAE and SIF- Qatar participated successfully in the National Children's Science Congress, which is organized by the Government of India's Department of Science and Technology.
The eight-member SIF-Kuwait delegation was led by Gangadhar Shirshath, principal at Khaitan branch of Indian Community School Kuwait.
Research projects from thousands of Indian students from across India and the Middle-East were showcased during the Science Congress.
Following the success of National Science Congress, SIF- Kuwait is now preparing to hold the mega science talent examination called Sastra Prathiba-2015, on 14 January, 2016.
Students from nearly 17 Indian schools in Kuwait have registered to participate in the examination, which will be held at the respective schools.
SIF-Kuwait adds that the syllabus for the examination, which has already been sent to all the registered participants, will include ten General Knowledge questions from previous issues of their monthly science newsletter, DISCOVER, which can be accessed online at http://sifkuwait.com/discover-e-magazine-of-sif/
