The band of the Royal Regiment of Scotland visited the British School of Kuwait (BSK) on 21 February, performing onsite at the Marble Arch to the students of the school.

Some of the students joined the band, marching before their classmates, teachers and the school management including Vera Al-Mutawa, the school Director.

Students studying musical instruments participated in a special workshop with the Scottish band in the Shakespeare Theatre, being exposed to new musical instruments followed by a performance with the band where they performed musical numbers such as the famous La Cucuracha, as well as pieces from the movies Frozen and Star Wars.

Students, teachers and staff thanked the band of the Royal Regiment of Scotland for spending their day at the school performing and teaching the students.

The British School of Kuwait offers a wide variety of musical opportunities and experiences to their students, many times on a world stage. In January, BSK's La Camerata band won the Young Musicians of the Gulf competition for a Large Ensemble with Hai Wei Lee winning the individual competition for his performance on the piano.
