Board Chairperson of the Public Authority for Agricultural Affairs and Fish Resources (PAAAFR) Nabila Al- Khuleil disclosed that authorizations were issued for local companies specialized in the import of sheep and goats to join in the local market, reports Al-Anba daily. In a recent inspection tour of agricultural and veterinary quarries in the sea ports, Al-Khuleil said PAAAFR is making adequate preparations to fulfill the growing demand for livestock, especially as Eid Al-Adha is fast approaching.
She stressed the importance of respecting Veterinary Quarantine Law to prevent entry of shipment that may be infested with contagious disease, adding PAAAFR will implement several plans for the benefit of consumers.
Meanwhile, cabinet decided on a large number of applications submitted by expatriates to possess apartments after studying each case separately upon a flexible mechanism, reports Al- Anba daily.
The daily quoting reliable sources explained that Ministry of Justice represented by Real Estate Registration and Documentation Sector is in charge of studying the applications presented by expatriates to own apartments in the country, where applicants attach papers related to family members and financial status, with details about the period of stay in the country. Asked if the offer is exclusive to specific Arab nationals, sources said all other nationalities are included as per the provisions of Decree No. 74/1979.
