On the occasion of the second anniversary of the election of His Holiness Pope Francis, the Ambassador of the Holy See (Vatican) to Kuwait H.E. Archbishop Petar Rajic, held a reception last week at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. Thanking dignitaries and guests for attending the event, Ambassador Rajic noted that Kuwait was the first country in the Arabian Peninsula to establish diplomatic ties with the Vatican. He added that Christians in Kuwait have been living peacefully in mutual respect and good relations with their Muslim brothers and sisters for a long time. In attendance were diplomats, well-wishers and members from the religious community.
