RSC Kuwait to celebrate grand finale of Sahithyolsav

Risala Study Circle (RSC) will be celebrating the grand finale of its 8th Art and Literacy festival titled ‘Sahithyolsav’ on 4 November, at Abbasiya Pakistan School between 9am to 10pm. The event will be inaugurated by prominent personalities at 9am.

Following the successful completion of unit and zone level competitions, the best in class performers from four zones would be competing at National level Sahithyolsav.  More than 300 participants will be competing in 52 items on four separate venues. Vice President of SSF Kerala, one of the largest students movements in Kerala, Dr. Muhammed Farooq Naeemi will be the chief guest in the closing ceremony, which has been scheduled to be held at 7pm.

Various competitions such as Mappilapaattu, qawwali, elocutions, group songs, storytelling, painting, poem and story writing, language games, mathematical puzzles, maduhu songs, duff demonstrations, pencil drawing and more will be held. The different categories for competition are, primary, junior, secondary, senior and general. Demonstration of traditional arts will be held from 2 pm onwards on main venues. 

Sahithyolsav events have been branded as a mega traditional art and cultural events across 6 Gulf countries.

Various committees have been formed for the successful completion of the event and special arrangements will be made for ladies and children.
