Popular performers entertain at Indian Cultural Carnival

An amazing event was organized by Apna Bharat Society – Kuwait at an open garden venue in Doha Entertainment City, last week. It was a grand success with over 3,800 music enthusiasts enjoying a one of a kind musical performance.

The event featured the famous Rock star and singing sensation Hard Kaur and famous comedians of Comedy Nights, Ali Asgar (known as Dadi) and Kiku Sharda (known as Palak And Laccha).

The Carnival started at 3 pm with cultural activities, kids’ competitions, prizes and dance performances from the different groups - Super Dancing Divas kids, Ballerine’s Kids, and local talents from Kuwait. The event started upon the arrival of Chief Guest, Ambassador of India to Kuwait, H.E. Sunil Jain.

A welcome message was delivered by the hosts. Then, a group photo session was carried on stage and the Chief Guest was introduced with the main sponsors of the event: Sahni Group, GT Redial Tires- Al Mutawa , Eternity International Tours & Travels,  Holiday Inn – Salmiya, OSN – HD Entertainment & American Tourist, Majdi food , Mehfil Restaurant, Raja Trading Group,  Kuwait Swedish Cleaning Co, Event production by CAMCO Global & also organizer thanks the Print partner - German Printing press, Event Supported By Creative Indian Association and Dancing Divas.

The Indian Ambassador delivered vote of thanks and congratulated President Akash S. Panwar and team on such a successful event. 

Dadi (Ali Asgar) and Palak (Kiku) performed a segment that showed off their comedy and acting skills, eliciting peals of laughter from the audience, who felt happy they saw their favourite idols in person. The air was filled with joy and laughter, as the event progressed.

Rock star, Hard Kaur, the first female Indian Rapper, sang many of her hit songs from her album titled ‘Mujhe peeney do’. The last attraction was Kuwait’s Kishore Kumar fame Mubarak Al Rashid Al Aazmi who sang old Indian songs very beautifully and delightfully bought the past to the present.

To end the program, a special act was thought up to add to the evening's laughter, an audience member was called on stage and was invited to propose marriage to Palak ; Dadi was the host of this particular segment. 

Akash S.Panwar , President of the society, said, "We wanted to do something different to make people feel like they have attended a real carnival, and that was the reason we kept the carnival at Entertainment City, Doha."

The audience enjoyed every moment of the grand event that was a fun mix of comedy, cultural performances and great music.
