The Interior Ministry announced that police have managed to arrest the man who drove the perpetrator of Al-Imam Al-Sadiq Mosque deadly bombing in Kuwait City. The suicide bombing which occurred on Friday killed some 27 worshipers and injured 227 others.
In a press statement, the ministry said the driver, a man named Abdulrahman Sabah Eidan Saud, is an illegal resident who was born in 1989. It disclosed that the man was hiding in a house in the district of Al-Rigga in Al-Ahmadi Governorate, south of Kuwait City, According to the ministry, initial investigations have revealed that the owner of the house is a supporter of extremist ideology.
Meanwhile, the ministry added that authorities would continue doing their best to reveal all of the circumstances behind the incident and to bring to justice all who partook in it.
