Poland celebrates National Day

H E Grzegorz Olszak, the ambassador of Poland held a reception at the Radisson Blu Hotel last week to commemorate the National Day of the Republic of Poland and the adoption of the constitution of May 3rd, 1791.

Speaking on the occasion Ambassador Olszak pointed out that 223 years ago Poland was the first nation in Europe and second in the world to adopt a constitution aimed at establishing modern, strong and efficient state based on progressive understanding of democracy, freedom and religious tolerance.

He also pointed out that Poland perceived Kuwait as an important partner in the region and highly respects Kuwaiti authorities for their wise and balanced policy and for the tremendous efforts and success in the area of humanitarian assistance on the large international scale.
